Firespray - valid choices besides Boba - starting with Kath

I've started to play around with Firespray builds. I know that Boba Fett is the hot guy, but what about other choices? I've used Emon a couple of times and he has proven to be a solid choice. Recently I've used Kath Scarlett:

The reasoning for choices:

Khiraxes - because I don't own Z95's or M3-A's. They proved to me (not only in this game but also when used in a different builds) are a very capable platforms even without major upgrades. Of course Intimidation is to have more milage out of Kath's ability. With 2 ships it is not that easy to set it up, but still it is a decent debuff on a sturdy platform with a solid firepower. Intimidation also helps others, not only Kath to hit harder.

Quadjumper - 4th ship is always good to have and Quadjumper offers good package of blocking and utility for a cheap price.

Having put these together I had a small room for Kath's upgrades. I don't own Scum Falcon, so Han as a Gunner was not an option. I took Veteran Tail Gunner. I think this is way too situational to even consider this choice, especially when tight on points. I couldn't find decent replacement for him, maybe BT-1, maybe Greedo, but it seems it is either Han or Marauder title is not worth it in this particular build. This leads to a question what to put instead. This leads me to have a pretty aggresive Build with Intimidation on Kath:

Zuckuss is because I had 3 points to spare and he helps in many situations. Adding such Kath to my 3 other ships gives a more in Your face list that specializes in blocking while having decent firepower and staying power.

I was judging how it would work with Z95's instead of Khiraxes. Basically for the cost of 2 Black Sun Aces with Intimidation I have 3 Black Sun soldiers with Intimidation. Z95 have offer one more ship but generally lesser firepower. (Frankly in totals it is the same number of red dice and hull points with shields in both cases). I see more potential and stability rolling 3 red dice two times than 3 times two dice. I know that in range 1 Z95's are favored, but to make a difference all 3 ships need to make it in order to contribute. It would be too crowded for me and running them in formation I think is against the idea of this build. What are Your thoughts on this?

I'm not sold on Victor, but the rest plays into stress build. Any comments to reliably put stress are welcome :$ I've thought about fielding two Quadjumpers instead of Victor, and tractor things into debris.

I had been tinkering with a stress centered build. No idea if it works at all. Maybe this gives some ideas.

Marksmanship on a turret boat?

Obviously a misclick, let's go for trickshot

I've given my Kath 4-LOM and discharge vanes to fly alongside 4x Z-95s (2 w/ feedback and 2 w/ intimidation) and it works okay I guess. The biggest problem I can see with Kath lists is that you can't give her many upgrades without sacrificing your all important blockers.

This looks like it could be fun, if a little one dimensional.

If I owned one maybe. The ability to negate modifiers and allot of agility base green dice is the biggest draw to me. 4 dice at range 3 from Kath with the target rolling less than their agility value in greens just seems like fun. :)

Maybe switch 000 from the firespray to 4lom? Just a thought.

This was my thought also. 0-0-0 place is either with Koshka or with 4-Lom. It i s a toss up as when he is with Koshka he will give her calculate (I cannot imagine a person that takes stress, bar one pilot from Rebel side). 4-Lom also should receive calculate token, but he won't be as efficent at using it as Koshka. On the other hand he likes to be close, so he will trigger 0-0-0 a bit more often.

Another potential change is on 4-LOM Elusive to Intimidate. 4-LOM very often forces bumps so I see a bit of value with such choice.

In this list only Viktor Hel bothers me. He has nice stress mechanic, but his cost is comparable to Moldy Crow Palob... On his own Viktor is just a Khirax who shoul dtake focus after focus and shoot after aces. I don't know if this is cost effective choice. I could fit a more dedicated brawler but it takes away stress mechanic.

I've run a Bounty Hunter with only Marauder as an upgrade on it for 6 games now.

I've gone 5-1, and the Bounty Hunter has always made it to the end game. He was the last ship to die in my only loss I think, and he has never died in any of my wins.

I know all the love is with a decked out boba, but you can save A LOT of points by running a slim bounty hunter like I have.

This concept made me thinking more:) even outside boundaries of Firespray. Immediately I've scanned my ships if I have same level of performance. As it seems Bounty Hunter with Marauder is sleek very efficient and cheap. When I was playing Eminem or Kath most of the time I used them as I would such BH, but for many more points. Generics can offer nice discounts :) a list that I've came up:

I know that Lancer and especially JumpMaster are not the best right now, but in such combination they could be worth it. I would field Falcon but I don't have one. Here all ships have the same initiative, which can leverage Shadowcaster title. Jumpmaster is Proton boat once he unloads, he becomes a blocker(not that other ships aren't blockers:)). I love the feeling of playing generic stuff against named characters. It is very appealing to me. I will give it a shot, even though I 'very told myself not to field JumpMaster again:)

I used this list for the last 4 games, and a slight variation on it for the first 2 games.

5-1 overall with it, 4-0 with this version. I've had some luck on my side at times, but I've also overcome bad starts purely on the fact it's 5 ships with 33 hit points and all 5 ships have ways to hit hard.
