Use all four to joust, K-Turn and just slowly herd you opponent off the board. Its actually a list that might force the opponent to not joust and the Bs have some natural firepower anyway.

The counter is of course rear firing turrets but the Ys and Bs are meaty enough to hold on a while.

Is it just a coincidence that the letters of the ships spell BYBY? ?

It’s a fascinating list. Fun for sure, not sure how effective as there is little to no damage. Does seem like you could trim the extra cannon and ion missiles to put in some better damage. Vet turret gunners maybe?

I did think about it but the plan is simply to NOT damage the ships but simply herd them off the board. If it works it almost kills the oppositions chance to do anything but take a focus each turn. If they skim the board edge, tractor beam can throw them off with barrel rolls.

Funny

Just remember that Ion deals a point of damage before it deals any ion tokens now, so you have to get at least 2 hits through to deal an ion token.

Pretty sure you can't barrel roll off of the board.

That is actually specifically disallowed in the rules for Barrel Rolling which the Tractor does not change (unlike rolling or boosting targets into or through obstacles).

The reduced Green dice are still nice for applying Ion tokens if the tractor ships shoot before the Ion ships.

Tractor Beam can still boost them forward or into debris.
