Hi all. Can Cikatro exchange a non illicit upgrade? I know de card says illicit upgrades, but i found this on the rules reference:

Q: Can Cikatro Vizago exchange an illicit upgrade card onto a ship that could not normally equip it (such as equipping a Stealth Device to a Z-95 Headhunter and then exchanging it with a Rigged Cargo Chute on a YV-666)?
A: Yes. Restrictions are ignored after setup unless noted otherwise.

Is this a typo? If not, this is a whole new game for scum & villainy.

nope, he cannot exchange any other upgrades than illicits. it's just that rigged cargo is restricted to medium and large ships. you cannot exchange anything but illicit upgrades with cikatro. you can, how ever, as stated, exchange restricted illicits unto ships that could not normally equip them, such as a rigged cargo unto a ships that's small.

it's on his card.
"During the End Phase, you choose 2 (illicit) upgrades equipped to friendly ships at range 0-1. If you do, you may exchange these upgrades.

End of Game: Return all (illicit) upgrades to their original ships."

I understand. The thing is, why mention the Stealth Device? As it reads, seems like you could exchange a Modification for an Illicit... Again, I know that it is not what the card says, but the answer and example use by FFG confuses me.

hmmm... good point. 'tis very strange indeed. my guess is that it's a typo, then. should be cloaking device, not stealth device. that's just my guess, though.

That absolutely is an error.

Guessing the example was probably supposed to be Cloaking Device instead of Stealth Device.

I, too, automatically read it as a reference to the illicit upgrade Cloaking Device. But, yeah, that's definitely wrong.
