Don't want to post in the main forum, but any news not about the SSD?
Since its announcement the game has died for me, especially motivation wise! Lack of news/support for Rebel players, and the price of the SSD is insulting to the player base that they knowingly take advantage of the big bucks players while disadvantaging the people without a load of disposable money!
For those that disagree with the last point, you're entitled to your opinion even if it's wrong. I've seen players buy ships like the MCLib just for 1 skilled first officers card, and I know there's a lot more out there! But in the grand scheme the game itself isn't worth the cost of an SSD let alone the actual model itself! As I've said on the forum before the SSD IMHO is a great example of the people not knowing what they actually want, we've seen since its drop the disagreements over which ship it should be, and it's one ship I don't think the majority will ever agree on.
To sum up the points mentioned above, I don't feel I'm the only one who shares this viewpoint and my worry from my own lack of playing is that the game will slowly grind down, with less and less content than currently (which is hard), unless FFG pull something out the bag I don't think the game will last past 2021 before its players find better marketed and better valued games. If I didn't have a friend who also plays the game I doubt FFG themselves would've even kept me on these forums at present.
