2.0 Conversion Kit question

By JediPartisan, in X-Wing

So I got my Rebel conversion kit when they came out, but life happened so I set them aside in my cases, just waiting for me to play with them.

I finally though I’d play and make a list with the two ARC 170s I have (one of my favourite ships). I figured that the conversion kit comes with 2 conversion sets (dials, tokens, etc) for the ARC 170, so I’m all set.

I can only find 1 set of the double sided ship tokens in my case. I’m not sure if I put them somewhere else (didn’t have much room cause of 1.0 stuff). I looked on YouTube at an unboxing and it looks like it only comes with one set of ship tokens. Does the Rebel Conversion Kit only come with one set of ship tokens for the ARC 170?

If so, I have a REAL problem with that. Even though the ARC 170 only has 4 unique pilots, they advertised that two ships were in the contents of the kit.

I cannot play any 2 pilots with one set of ship tokens as they are two sided.

Please let me know if the kit was supposed to come with two sets of ship tokens, when you can. Until then, i’ll Keep looking.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no, there is only one set of two double sided tokens, it's a problem for all the unique-only rebel ships like the TIE Fighter, ARC and Phantoms. It's a big pain for sure

Thanks for letting me know. At least I can stop looking. I thought I might have misplaced them, especially since the kit come with two dials.

How does that even make sense?

Number of ships converted is based on dial count. They were probably thinking that it wasn't worth it to add a whole extra cardboard sheet just for a couple more bases. Though they could have filled the rest of the page with Shield tokens, I guess.

For casual play, you could just use any same-size base, as long as your opponent's ok with it.

@JediPartisan I had a similar issue with the Generic U-wing pilot. The kit only came with one Blue Squadron Scout ship base (its on the reverse of Cassian), but there's an option you can go with, print this out:

It's obviously doesn't have any info or arcs colored in, but it might help you get by.

The image comes from this site:

It looks like only generic ships though, hence the ARC is missing, but maybe if you shoot him an email, he can help you out?
