Any announcements, rumors, or baseless speculation of what comes next?

I remember talk of a Ships book ages ago, but haven't seen anything to back that up. As of Today, there are no new RT books in the Upcoming list.

Why don't we put out our own ships book. At the very least if we all contribute one ship to fill a single page we'd have a hundred page book (minimum) from all the submissions.

As to supplements, scenario hardbacks seem great to me. Add a few new Career Paths and Ship components each time and i'd buy every one.

Dark Reign is way ahead of you. All the Gothic fleets are statted out I believe. What people should really be doing is coming up with more gadgets and gee-gaws for ships. Components and the like.

He he Of Course they are doing the fleets of Imperial Ships. We should make the not so formal, rag tag fleets of Rogues as a ships book.

I guess I could go through the House Rules section and see what works best, maybe do a best of components web book and add tehm to my ship construction utility.

What we need are other races ships/components, like Tau (there is a lot that can be postulated from ARMADA) and Kroot, Demiurg, Eldar, Hrud (if they use anything but captured imp ships), and others. Some OpFor for the Rogues. That book I would latch onto immediately.

Also. servitors, servo-skulls, penitent engines; rules for custom building our own. Anyone know if these already exist?

But something about the hardback scenario books makes me happy. Solid.

I've made some Dark Eldar ships and the Kroot Warsphere for RT, and they're up on Dark Reign. I'll likely update the Dark Eldar vessels now, given we've got Craftworld Eldar ship components and examples in Lure of the Expanse. I might try to make up the other Craftworld Eldar ships from BFG using those examples now too.

I think instead of "making" components, it might be a good idea to post some of our chart-ed ships & dynasties, not only the ships but also the history behind it, the crew's achievements and all of that. That way, not only they can act as "guest stars" in other people's campaings, but also they can "fitted" as Space Hulks to investigate and plunder if necessary, and the list of achievements could lead to new adventures (in the way they board the ship, power the captain's log and and the last entry leads the team to a new adventure, in the classical way ^^).
