Haldan and Idraen combo

By Halberto, in Strategy and deck-building

Hi folk,

I want to build a bit around new haldan hero to see how much he is worth as hero card. He is something new so I want to experiment a bit.

Do you think that Haldan and Idraen sunergize well? I think so. Spheres combine well and both benefits from locations. Plus Idraen is duneadain and combo with lore duneadain pipe. The pipe added to haldan ability, lore events and ancient mathom makes for an obscene amount of draw.

Resources will be lacking unless arwen or grima are slotted in but at least elf-stone will provide some support.

Which would be the best third hero choice for this duo?

Do you think there are other spirit hero combining better than I dream with haldan?

Please share your idea!!

Idraen would be a nice combo with Haldan, plenty of action advantage with stats that you can use in the combat phase. As for the third, you have many good options:

-Spirit Glorfindel for the access to Asfaloth and even more action advantage with Light of Valinor

-Elrond for resource smoothing, good defensive stats or willpower as needed, and the awesome healing boost

-Damrod to shift the deck toward a control type of deck, now with both enemy and location control, and an offensive amount of card draw

-Eowyn to shift the deck toward willpower and a greater focus on questing

-Spirit Beregond for an excellent defender and a great addition to a multiplayer table

-Lanwyn for the ranged addition to multiplayer, as well as additional potential action advantage or flexible willpower

And don’t forget that you can add Wingfoot with another ranger hero for yet more action advantage (great card for Beravor).

Lots of good options!
