I'll have to think long and hard about it.

My wife has been out of town for this entire game, and I figured that would make things easier on me since no hassling me about being on the phone (the primary reason I can't play). Vastly underestimated the increase in my childrens neediness with only 1 parent though.

I’ve vented my spleen in Observers so will try to be more... restrained here as I reflect my own lessons learned for Town:

- killing when there’s nearly a full 48hrs left without waiting for a response/defence from the player is both bad strategy and poor etiquette!

- if a player is pushing an immediate lynch (including with a vote at the very start of the day!) when there is that much time left that push should be judged as suspicious - not as an invitation for Town to race to a lynch

- trying to win by ‘maths-ing’ it out alone is not advisable. There are too many variables (docs that can self heal multiple times, Godfathers, even the potential for moderators to change rules mid game). I confess to being guilty of this not just in this game but quite frequently and will try to learn accordingly.

- A better approach is to read the players posts and make reads on scuminess versus towniness (cf. Jabba vs LP ) and use the maths element to support the case or strategy - but don’t depend on a logic/elimination path alone

- Speaking of which, if a player has gone to the time and trouble of compiling huge post lists it is a good idea to use them! Had this been done then Jabba’s outright inconsistency of claimed scans would have been noted! (And again, if you don’t want to reread it yourself, then perhaps wait for the person who did the repost and reread to comment )

- and finally, for all of that, the sheer chutzpah, the wonderous braggadocio and the killer speed of @The Jabbawookie are to be admired, feared and learned from. Congratulations Scum.

I think the biggest mystery in all this is weather @BrobaFett shaves his chest north to south or east to west...

Tbf I did make the case for both scum from D2 and it fell on deaf ears town wise...

Chalk this one up as a bad game and hope for better towning and worse scuming next one

Yeah I thought for absolutely certain when that claim dropped it was over for Jabba. And I was pissed at the time cuz I had thought the train might still find its way to LTD.

The pregame, no read working out was dumb luck. I'm a pretty terrible liar under pressure, but GNiPs and Ebon provided the reasoning. That's one for LP's list: don't put words in a suspect's mouth. They'll know what you believe to be most plausible.

Just proves what I said at the time, late claims should always be a policy lynch. Otherwise town wastes valuable time, and it sets a dangerous precedent for future games to allow scum such planning when fake claiming.
