So rererad, still getting town from nippy..

Vipcard has said nothing, Valdore and LTD haven't said much more

Broba has said a little, and seems to be town in what he has said...

Matts been quite active, and was rather quick to vote mad as Broba pointed out

Pods seems to be having a quieter game than usual

Looking now I'd want to hear more from a top 3 or Vip, Con, and LTD... out of the 3 of them 1 must have something to say on D1

I went looking for the pending countdown I used in a previous game, but the website appears defunct.

As to being top 3 and having something to say... I have not much to say.

I'm not particularly gifted in semiotics, and the idea of gleaning some kind of information or inkling from a few lines of type seems silly to me. I have in the past relied on my LTD sense tingling - but I get no tingles at all.

If I were a simpler more optimistic person I would suggest a round one no lynch to limit the possibilities of killing one of our own by accident, gaining time for any possible power roles to act, and finding out (generally) what kind of enemy we face.

But I know that any such suggestion will result in me being summarily executed, so I will not make it.

Perhaps we should simply vote for those that make the least contribution on day one?

In which case it is probably Vipcard3.

The countdown link that Caldias added above says that it has already passed for me - it does not seem to be time zone specific.

Ugh sorry guys. 7:28am EST is end of day, so little under 12 hours.

I believe that is 11/8 12:28 GMT, 14:28 Central Europe Time. But we just had our dumb time zone fall back an hour. Our usual clock site appears to be down. Sorry about that!

What do I think?

- That the Ebon/Mads argument was more heat than light and the intensity and number of posts flying may have given inadventent cover to scummarining. I also think the tone (shouting and anger) may prove offputting to players. Knowing a litttle of both players I am certain this is not intentional (and I very much commend the smoke breaks and the de-escalation) but perhaps we could try to keep the back and forth as civil as possible please and even perhaps a little briefer please? I say this without wishing to cast aspersions and with respect for all players!

- that said, and at the risk of undermining my own heat/light point(!), it’s use to me was to leave me feeling that both players were more likely Town. Admittedly, this is feeling and D1 at that.

- I still don’t know who to vote for but I would probably be drawing Pazaak cards on Vip and Matt and CV and voting lowest card for one of the three if push came to shove right now

I agree. If Mads were scum he would've behaved differently, and Ebon is usually a firebrand (in a good way!) Very tenuous town reads from both for now. To the quiet players: I would be willing to overlook a little D1 scummarining, but now there's something to talk about. Weigh in if you haven't. Because right now it's a hard call for me to vote Matt (following Ebon's vote with a weird argument,) or simply vote one of our lurkers while there's real discussion going on.

Okay so countdown wise when I go to sleep tonight that's day end for me, as when I wake up night will have begun...

Probably gunna be on for another hour or so plus, so will keep active while I smoke and drink this tea and try and figure a vote out

Agreed 1 thing from Me/Mad is at least there is a talking point for today, and we need all voices in talking

You need to say a little more. At least elaborate on your vote a bit. Because you've followed someone, and you haven't taken it down. You claimed Mads' reaction was an overreaction that read like a scumtell. That doesn't feel like Mads at all to me D1, but I'm ready to listen.

Off the 3 quietest people Con, Vip, and LTD

LTD is at usual day 1 posting for me but a few more tomorrow would be nice

Vip has said literally nothing which I would normally lean towards however I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt to explain tomorrow where he was..

That brings me to Con, who has posted a little but mostly fluff (I'll quote all after), this could be scum just sitting on the sidelines throwing an 'hey i'm here posting' post, so I would lean to Con right now @Constantine Valdor I'm going to be on for another hour or so bud so if you have anything to add I'd like to hear it!

Yep, @Constantine Valdor is definitely on the Talk More Plz List. @Vipcard3 too, but everyone else seems to be varying degrees of present. 9 out of 11 is kind of rare D1, actually.

Still thinking Matt, he's more appealing than Vip on his first game. I wish he hadn't just cheerfully checked out. CV is definitely an option too. I don't have great reads, but again, better than most D1s.

Yeah, I don't want to vote matt either but I won't disagree his exit makes it hard, I too would've like more of a defence not only on his vote/but on GNips as well..

I'm leaning CV more now I've given him extra time, and apart from the odd exit I don't think matt is scum..
