Does anyone else find it strange that the background of these is gold-coloured, instead of say, half blue and half purple?

Seems like a homage to Magic, where multi colour cards are gold.

Same here.
They will be going with the Neutral cards in my collection as well.
I store my player cards in numerical order by cycle in binders, so whatever number they are, that is the spot they will go.
Countdown to the threads of, "Do I have to buy 2 copies of each Mythos Pack with dual-colored cards so all my Investigators can use them? Why won't FFG just sell extra copies of those alone?"
