Interested in a podcasted campaign?

By TheShard, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I have a few people already interested, I'm thinking a rebel campaign, people who are comfortable voice acting and speaking in character are wielding to apply. Also a gm or gms that are interested should be comfortable developing npc's and speaking for them in voice.

Concept will be fleshed out as a group I've the group gets finalized

I'm interested, but it also depends on what time you're planning to play.

This will be done fairly professionally so It'll be bi weekly or monthly. But exact schedule will be determined by the group. If you wanna post your availability that would be great. Also hope comfortable are you voice acting and will you have a professional quality mic?

I'm interested but I have a few details I want to sort out with you

I'm not able to commit to playing, but I'm interested in how you're going to proceed from a technology standpoint. I'm happy to keep that tangent on the sidelines but as someone who consumes podcasts and has an audio engineering background, I'm often left wanting in that regard. A great podcast dies in flames for me if it's poorly edited or mixed offensively. I know I am but just one man, but I suspect others might share my feelings.

Well the idea is everyone should have a professional mic. That's first. However I'll probably edit it in a music creation software. Problem is recording seperate audio channels while all hearing it... That's hard. Not sure about that yet

I wouldn't be interested in playing in a game like that, but I'd definitely be interested in listening in once you have your first episodes published!

I've done it with skype bridged to garage band, then taken the output to a real DAW, but I agree this is a difficult process. Now, the argument about what constitutes a professional mic is likely going to be a heated discussion with a different answer depending on who you ask ?
