Consensus on Reserve?

By SpiderMana, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Is there a consensus on Docking ships with stress/ion/locks? Or Tel’s or Moralo’s pilot ability?

Theres nothing RAW about removing tokens, but loosing track of an ion or a stress after several turns docked seems like it’d be really easy.

If the token would normally be removed at the end of a round, its removed. If the token would normally stay at the end of the round, it stays.

Leave the ion/stress on the base, it is not that hard..

I’m also looking for jank to remove stuff since in fluff I’d think stress/ion might go away, where TL could transfer to the ship docked to. Ah well.

Actually there is RAW about tokens while in reserve... Right in the Reserve section of the RR.

Page 16: During the End Phase, a ship that is in reserve still removes all circular tokens and recovers charges on all of its cards with recurring charge icons.

I saw that, yes, I meant square tokens. Sorry ?

this is pretty strange and interesting. this is not clearly stated anywhere. there is nothing indicating that you wouldn't keep square tokens, such as stress, ion, locks etc. even while docked.

it seems a bit weird and unique that tokens stay somewhere other than in the supply or in the play area, as i assume reserves are in neither of those places, but rather on the ship card.

imho, it would be more logical if stress would be returned to the supply (discarded), since the ship should find some solace and comfort in being docked to its carrier.

locks on docked ships should be useable while attacking the carrier.

ion should be transferred to the carrier with a loud zapping noise.

well, i guess they stay on the ship, even when it's not in the game area. -_-
