Hi all , firstly I’ve bought the scum conversion kit but it doesn’t contain the moldy Crow title card , is this right and if so where could I get it from. Also I picked up a quad jumper a steal for £10!! I’m not sure if their any good , I’d appreciate a few tips on how to use them and maybe a good load out for them , which other ships do they work best with ? Many thanks
A few questions

Moldy Crow is currently only available in the Rebel conversion kit (this makes many Scum players very sad). If you don't have anyone to trade/borrow from and don't want to buy the Rebel conversion kit, you can try looking on ebay.
Quadjumpers will work with just about any wingmates, because their ship ability applies a defensive/positioning debuff that anyone can take advantage of. They make excellent "filler" ships in Scum lists.
As for upgrades, you don't want to load them up too much, because they're fragile and will pop easily if your opponent decides it's the juiciest target to shoot at. Try looking at Contraband Cybernetics (which lets you pull off you tug action once per game while stressed, which can be clutch), or a cheap bomb. If there's something you want to try, try it, but my advice would be to keep that baby as lean as you can so your opponent will shoot at other things first.
Lastly, this is the subforum for rules questions. In the future you might want to try asking questions like this in the Squad Building forum or general forum, as more people will see it there and respond with all their groovy ideas!
Thanks
quadjumpers are at their best naked just running as jakku gunrunners. some people like unkar plutt for his ability. viable upgrades to consider include intimidation, informant, tobias becket, contraband cybernetics, proton bombs, proximity mines - and if you are running bombs you could consider cad bane.
but they are at their best naked at initiative one, at least if you're looking for value. normally, you would want all the biggest asteroids as you obstacles for a list running quads, unless you have something stress focused like landos falcon or koshka frost, in which case debris could help.

Add in Primed Thrusters to that list when it is released. Dependent on play style, it will be a very nice boost to them.

0-0-0 as filler? Scratching my head as to why its there, though I guess the calc token would be nice since in most cases taking the stress is a really bad idea.
you can run six jakku gunrunners with proton bombs as well. that lands you on 198 points, so just add tobias becket and you're at 200. tobias becket is better than 0-0-0 imho. a calculate token won't really benefit a quadjumper that much in most cases.
if you want to run a list like this, be prepared to tractor you own ships. you'll need the speed, since the quadjumper doesn't have any maneuvers faster than speed three.
Love that build emeraldbeacon although I’m not sure that’s financial viable at the minute ?
I usually run mine with Cloaking Device and Proton Bombs, can give them that valuable boost of speed (and can surprise people with how fast it can go, or the odd angles you can get to) and defense it needs to get to where it needs to go. It helps that a lot of people are hesitant to shoot at something worth very little with 4 agility xD
Of course, however you play it you just be smart about it, otherwise it will just get blown up without accomplishing anything.
Another thing I'm trying to figure out a list for right now if two quadjumpers with cloaking device and vizago, (and another ship with an illicit) to make 2 permanently cloaked Quads (at least until I deem it worthwhile to decloak for the movement it would give...), hard to find good teammates for it though, but maybe I just haven't been theorizing enough

that sounds like fun! you cannot have more than one cloaking device in a squad, though. you can use three ships with illicits and cloak a quad first round, then switch the cloaking device to the next quad in the end phase, then cloak the second quad in the second round and switch the cloaking device to the last ship in the end phase. something like this:
boba cloaktugs ( 194 )
| Jakku Gunrunner — Quadrijet Transfer Spacetug | 28 |
| Cad Bane | 4 |
| Proton Bombs | 5 |
| Cloaking Device | 5 |
| Ship Total: 42 | |
| Jakku Gunrunner — Quadrijet Transfer Spacetug | 28 |
| Cikatro Vizago | 2 |
| Proton Bombs | 5 |
| Deadman’s Switch | 2 |
| Ship Total: 37 | |
| Boba Fett — Firespray-class Patrol Craft | 80 |
| Debris Gambit | 2 |
| Perceptive Copilot | 10 |
| Proton Bombs | 5 |
| Contraband Cybernetics | 5 |
| Shield Upgrade | 6 |
| Marauder | 3 |
| Han Solo | 4 |
| Ship Total: 115 | |
something like this meffo ??

something like that, yes. in fact, if you have a cloaked quad with cad bane equipped, you can drop a bomb, perform a red boost with cad banes ability, then decloak forwards, then go on to activation and move in with another quad to tractor the cad bane quad forwards, then perform a three forwards, which is blue, so you loose the stress. you can then tractor an enemy ship. this would move you at speed 10 (!!!) before performing the spacetug tractor array action. sounds like a blast.
Another thing I'm trying to figure out a list for right now if two quadjumpers with cloaking device and vizago
Yes. I'm aware. Thank you.
However, Meffo, you can't decloak and drop a bomb in the same round. Made that mistake myself, but it's covered in the decloak rules.

You can't drop a bomb after decloaking. Doesn't say anything about doing it before iirc.

"Each ship cannot drop or launch a device during the same phase that it decloaked" [RR p. 8]

Which does not say 'each ship cannot decloak in the same phase it dropped or launched a device'.
One thing I’m confused about is why didn’t Piotr on the YouTube video have to roll a die to see if he de cloaked ?

I'm assuming that he used Cikatro to pass the Cloaking Device over to a different ship?
That's why. If the cloaking device isn't on the ship with the cloak token, it doesn't have to roll any more.

that’s very clever

You can drop and decloak, you can't decloak and drop. I suspect this is to prevent the enemy having to think about an infinite possibility of where bomb could end up...

If that's what they meant, they worded it terribly. I naturally read
"a ship cannot deploy a device in a phase where it decloaked"
and
"a ship cannot deploy a device and decloak in the same phase"
as equivalent, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
