Ffg spanish posted up projected street date of 11/23 for palp and his guard. With that being thanksgivimg we will likely see them the 24th.

They said on the printed cards at gencon they would be out Q4 2018. I really dont think they will come out before January though. The senate and guards are dropping November and we get walking carpets December. That means if they keep up the one drop a month thing (ok, so really they are shooting for 2 releases per month at one time) it will be January. I would like them sooner because I am having a lot of success proxying the generic commander both as a commander and a unit leader, but I dont think it will happen.

Seems that 4 months from annoucement to store shelves on this stuff. Carperts and specialist could drop all at once. Im figuring specislist is a january drop as well though.

Quarter = "Trimestre" according to Google translate (which matches my very rusty college Spanish), so yes, Q4.

FFG might be trying to get the GCW stuff out the door so they can focus solely on Clone Wars next year. I'm a little doubtful on November Wookies though, unless they are going to be the week after the Imperial release. I would be more surprised if FFG released 4 boxes at the same time though, since so far the goal seems to be 2 boxes/items per release.

Keep in mind that all we know about Clone Wars stuff is "2019." That could be February or it could be November.

Good point, we also still don't have a hint of the release date for the bases, nor any announcements that are slated for Q1 at all. It could be Legion takes a break while FFG finishes up the CW stuff, or there's stuff that just hasn't been announced. We won't really know until more things are announced.

Personally I think Clone Wars will be released a few months after Gencon. It'll be formally announce with spoilers a few months before to allow for all the hype to die off in true FFG fashion....Then have previews at Gencon for a store release a month later.

Legion was only ever said to have monthly releases for the first year. Now they never defined "year", but I wouldn't expect it to continue all to much longer. Unless cw stuff is in the first half of 2019, and I mean cmon it's ffg.

I bet we get spoilers at Worlds for CW, with full preview at Gen Con with full release to follow the next month.

I’ve only ever heard 1st quarter 2019 for the Specialist. It’s also listed at the bottom of the page in the only write up we got > https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/10/9/specialize-your-army/

That being said, I would LOVE to get them for Christmas!

My guess is that FF will slow production in 2019 for Rebels and Imps so we won’t get one a month anymore.? So after the Specialists come out, the next thing may be the Clone Wars Core set. I’m hoping for at least one more unit each for Imps and Rebs, but as far as filling things out, breaking at the generic commanders is probably the best spot.

Just a thought.

Sorry, I meant the news about the Specialists coming in 2018, or were you talking about the Emperor and RG all along?

The spanish site has been really good on release dates so far. Its generally 4 months from announcement to to release with 2 weeks from preview article to release.

The FF website still says they’re in development which would make them months from delivery, but I’d really like them to be wrong.?

For some reason the us site is slow to to update. Likely gets updated monday to show palp as now shipping. I think the xwing release has slowed stuff a little as well. Im curious what unit is announced this month as it should be a febuary release if past is any indicator.

The original showing at gen con also had small paper tags that said Q4 2018. Picture below.
