Hi,

Having trawled the net and found the brilliant icons on here without backgrounds etc, I've used an online font creator to put together at least a basic example of the fonts, it seem to work (though only in lower case as I'm stupid!).

s= success

e= explosive success

f= strife

o= opportunity

k= skill dice

r= ring dice

plus a few of the numbers give you skill dice showing specific results.

Hopefully this will motivate someone more competent to improve!

Edit: Have updated the font, now includes capitals (though the Ring dice one isn't quite the same) as well as ring symbols in both:

a= Air

g= Earth (ground)

i= Fire (inferno)

w= Water

v= Void

Do you know the name of the title font for l5r book is?

This is good!

It also needs the symbols for kata, kiho, shuji, ritual, maho and ninjutsu those are the other symbols in the special font they are using and don't exist in any other font set.

Well unless someone creates image files of those I won't be doing it.

Actually getting a bit tired of the "I like, but change this" attitude of people on here. I actually got up and did the work, if you want to add stuff, then you could do it too.

I've already got the various symbols in a font I've done. (Well, 8 faces of one font - two withds, P/B/I/BI each) - with some in the same locations as the fonts used by FFG. It's not the title font, tho'. (I've buried a bunch of other symbols in it, too. Currently, it's in mac .dfont/ttf format.)

I just haven't put it up, yet, because I'm still tweaking a few things on it. (I spent two hours today fixing a few things in order to get the latest revision to compile in FontForge. It's powerful, but damned is it awkward. And I need to test that I didn't break the ) I could extract the L5R characters (including clan mon, the 5 rings rosette, the 7 clans rosette), but note they're all in unicode PUA, and I'm too lazy to remap them and fix the kerning for the overstrike characters.

If you had them as image files then I could add them to mine but as unicode I couldn't add them.

What font editor are you using?

Fontastic- it only uses images.

Well, if someone can figure out how to get this to work! It has all the images in it, but they just won't work!

They're in the wrong directions. Supposed to be clockwise for the black,

In other words, it's broken by the designer. (not to mention low resolution.)

Well then fine. Deleting the file and not reuploading once it's fixed. Anyone who would like it, other than Aramis who is clearly very rude, PM me and I'm sure I can get it to you.

Weird, because when it comes to discuss about the broken design in this game Aramis is always white knighting.
