So spearmen pretty much always in KZ for quick resources. you want to start laying down developments turn 1, each turn (follow the power trend of Innovation - Great in the begining, OK in mid-game, Awesome at the end). Swordmasters in BZ asap or Dragonmage ( + armour if possible ) in QZ or KZ. Most of the time you can get the quest out early and it's obviously best to put him on that. IF you can manage to do that, you have a VERY good chance of winning - those guys allow enough stall time to amass resources with your supports to >BAM!< Flames o' the Phoenix & follow up with a Repeater barrage (so try to save Flames for then). Caradryan & Illyriel are only supporting - may be better to sub out with Demolitions or Valayas (which tbh i'm not too fond of since it doesn't solve the problem (vs. Gifts which gives you resources for RPT for 2 more resources) but may buy enough time... ). Pilgrimages & Banishes or for that purpose - to buy time. They can also be used to clean up after Flames if you don't have another Flames handy. I was running Gift of Life, but never used it (i think by the time your opponent gets around to taking care of them, you would've drawn another, so...) and replaced with Reap, which i've found to save me a few times in those 'hey Billy, look at this crappy hand!' moments. hmmm that's about it. comments & criticism welcome.
