I hope "Heroic" is not resistance only, Whisper and Soontir say hi!

It's the Resistance faction talent, a la Selfless, Ruthless, and Fearless
EDIT - 2 for 2 on you @BVRCH ?

Heroic is the Resistance faction talent. It'll be restricted to them.

Hahaha I'm going to nickname you quickdraw! Beat me to it again!
EDIT: Right in the thrusters! @nexttwelveexits
Insert 'I can hold it' Garven meme.
I feel like the "Heroic" EPT was designed just for me. I roll sooooo many all-blanks dice rolls, my dice should be checked for air pockets. Seriously, I was going to stick with the original 3 factions, but I might have to buy into Resistance just for "Heroic."
I wasn't looking at the sequel factions before, but the T-70 article and now these RZ-2 details are really making me think. I don't have a lot of investment in them, but that hasn't mattered so much when I'm trying to put together a squad. I can collect the rest and play these.
Great research gang! This gets me a bit pumped for RZ2's for sure. I'm not getting a conversion kit for the Resistance but I'll pick up a couple RZ2's and probably a T-85 or two. The RZ2's look like they'll be a hoot to fly.
Edited by Bad Idea ComicsI would not be surprised to see L'ulo on the table (if you can arc dodge well enough) but Tallie's ability is sub par I think. Its analogous to the Fang's concord dawn title since its only in the bulls eye.
L'ulo, honestly, looks amazing. Or at least, if a Rebel A-Wing had that ability, I think it'd be pretty good. Just focus or Evade if you're not going to be able to clear arcs, but Focus/Boost out of arc for a potential 4-dice range shot, or the cool potential to fly past a ship, Lock, then flip the guns back. That's something unlike most arc dodgers.

Here's an interesting observation: because the RZ-2 A-Wing has a mobile arc and no front arc, it can't make use of Outmaneuver with primary weapon attacks. There may, in the future, be non-gunner upgrades which reference mobile arcs (could some Talent in the future work only with a Mobile arc, instead of a fixed arc?), and these A-Wings might be able to use those.

Looks to me like it says "perform an action" to trigger the link, nothing about it being red. That's great for focus/rotate or boost/rotate shenanigans!
Combine with Daredevil, maybe?

Depending on Tallie’s price and number of charges I would use her. IN5 with double repositioning isn’t that hard to get bullseye and she could really up Rey or Poe’s survivability if used correctly. Like everything else it really comes down to cost though.

Daredevil doesn't work with red boosts, unfortunately.

Sorry, that was a typo. I'll fix it in the post, thanks for pointing it out!
The second action (in this case, Rotate) will still be red, though, so you can't do it after a Daredevil boost. I'm not sure that the A-wing is the right chassis for Daredevil, because it takes away your action efficiency and also pretty much guarantees that your 2 die primary and your [ahem] unreliable green dice are going to be unmodified.
Zari's ability seems a bit strange on an I3 chassis. It's definitely nice in an I1-2 rich environment (I especially like the possibility of getting blocked, boosting past and turning the arc to fire on the would be blocker!) I've been trying to wrap my head around the utility against higher I ships... and my only thought is intentionally ramming to set up a shot from the rear as they fly past (or block someone trying to slow-roll).
Another idea is using your own ships as blockers to allow her to slow-roll, which may be situationally useful.

vs higher I ships, it can also allow you to intentionally bump to block an obvious 1 forward, or as you pointed out it opens up options for staying behind your opponent. It also also allows you to attempt to navigate tight spaces without consequences, intentionally bump and then boost/barrel roll into blocking position... it just offers a lot of flexibility, which is why I think it's actually really well suited to a middle initiative pilot.
Because they're an I3 A-wing who loves snuggling, I have taken to referring to this pilot as pseudo-Arvel
