No. Fantasy Flight, as far as I know, never has an official presence at Spiel, only its German distribution partner. And they have no history of making any announcements there, only at Gen Con.

I was in essen 2017 and there was a huge ffg presence. They announced the atst and the speeder in essen and i played a few demos.

Based off previous announcements I sort of suspect if we see something it will be in two weeks at the earliest with them announcing the next expansion after the personal expansions, hopefully either a heavy unit wave pt 1 or Clone Wars stuff. Of those two though I suspect it will be the heavy wave with the Empire getting their next heavy and another commander or operative, though I'd love Imperial Pilots, with the following month bringing a rebel heavy option and another commander of operative, but again would love some Rebel Pilots too.

Pretty sure they said Clone Wars content was to first appear in X-Wing and then make its way to Legion. If we see any CW news out of Essen, I’d expect it to be for X-Wing.

My mistake, then! It does appear that's an anomaly, since the Web searching I did before posting showed year after year of posts asking about it and reporting FFG doesn't go to the convention - I had to search specifically for the AT-ST in 2017 to uncover pics.

IA was released at Essen too, if i remember correctly.
