Looking to sell

By lecudas, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

So, I have stopped playing Imperial Assault and am looking at selling my whole lot (not wanting to break it up). How much do you all think this should be worth? I have all the following, not including boxes and original packaging:

  • 1 Core Set

Expansions:

  • Twin Shadows
  • Return to Hoth
  • The Bespin Gambit
  • Jabba's Realm
  • Heart of the Empire

Villain Packs:

  • General Weiss Villain Pack
  • Royal Guard Champion Villain Pack
  • IG-88 Villain Pack
  • Boba Fett Villain Pack
  • Kayn Somos Villain Pack
  • Stormtroopers Villain Pack
  • Hired Guns Villain Pack
  • Bantha Rider Villain Pack
  • General Sorin Villain Pack
  • Dengar Villain Pack
  • Bossk Villain Pack
  • Agent Blaise Villain Pack
  • ISB Infiltrators Villain Pack
  • The Grand Inquisitor Villain Pack
  • Greedo Villain Pack
  • Captain Terro Villain Pack
  • Jabba the Hutt Villain Pack
  • BT-1 and 0-0-0 Villain Pack
  • Jawa Scavenger Villain Pack
  • Maul Villain Pack
  • Emperor Palatine Villain Pack

Ally Packs:

  • Han Solo Ally Pack
  • Chewbacca Ally Pack
  • Rebel Troopers Ally Pack
  • Rebel Saboteurs Ally Pack
  • R2-D2 and C-3PO Ally Pack
  • Wookiee Warriors Ally Pack
  • Alliance Smuggler Ally Pack
  • Leia Organa Ally Pack
  • Echo Base Troopers Ally Pack
  • Lando Calrissian Ally Pack
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi Ally Pack
  • Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight Ally Pack
  • Alliance Rangers Ally Pack
  • Hera Syndulla and C1-10P Ally Pack
  • Ahsoka Tano Ally Pack

I will probably put it on eBay, but if you are interested, you can contact me directly.

If you were in Ontario, Canada, I would suggest you sell the small expansions for (CAD) $8-$10, the medium ones for $10-$15, the small boxes for $40 and the large boxes for $60. Obviously as a package you could give someone a better deal.

Remember that this game can be sold for Campaign (which you can play alone now) and skirmish.

Do you have a local place to sell games? A facebook group? Ebay is fine but shipping that is going to be brutal.

If you're not wanting to break it up, I'd suggest 300-400 USD.

It's probably not the optimal price you'd get, but personally I couldn't imagine spending more than that on a used game, even if it had that much content.

If I were you, I'd seriously rethink not breaking it up. Someone who doesn't even own the Core is not going to want to buy all that other stuff. You could maybe find someone willing to spring $125 or even $150 USD on the whole thing, but otherwise I think they'd just buy the Core for $90 - $100 somewhere else and see if they like it before buying more. Selling it in pieces you could get $250 or $300 at minimum for a set like that, assuming things are in good shape.

Yeah, the only people I could see investing heavily in this are existing players looking for duplicates, but even then they're probably not gonna want everything (uniques as an obvious example).

How much for your Return to Hoth and Jabba's Realm?

Exactly. The people who would buy this kind of package already own it.

I'll work on breaking it up. It's a lot of work, as I do not have the original packaging left...

http://cards.boardwars.eu/ will help to identify what expansion something may have come from. (Skirmish cards will be hardest I think??)

And I suspect most people who will be looking to buy parts don't need the original packaging...

I agree. It will be a lot easier to sell if you break it up. Regardless of the game, that's a lot of money to shell out for a game.
