yeah! and I don't know how yet. I would like to see a game and also try it myself. That's something I think we may discuss about. Almost everyone agree about last wave bringing balance to the activation madness and SAd being key but there are only three "new" cards there: Thrawn, Brunson and Pryce.

And at UK Nationals we had a double ISD that only get use from a Kuat as new stuff (you could even make the same list with an ISD-1 with Tua, only loosing ER what makes me think why it didn't reach a top before Avenger's nerf).

Thrawn 2-ship in short (this version at least):

- Pryce on ISD gives GREAT control over the opening of the battle. You must practice this to feel how it works.

- Thrawn means your 2 ships are supercharged. Squad and Nav very often together, the best command in the game. Plus slicing you isn't really that great.

- Catching a Brunson Quasar with boosted comms thats' always navigating... it's harder that you'd think.

- The squads pack a huge punch, and they will do so every round of the game.

- Last/first with squads, pryce ISD... it's a total game changer.

- You pack 400 points of power into just 2 activations. Sure, it's limiting, but it's also very empowering.

Best of all: it's really different and really FUN!

That VSDII really hits hard.. D-caps, Heavy Ions, Gunnery Tteams + Intensify firepower + tokens from the Gozanti..

I was there aswell, kinda disappointed with my own performance and that I got a bye but it was fun overall.

And you were not playing against each other? Was it this extreme with so many 10-1 wins that you were always paired away?

I lost my ISD the first game, plus he had a HH lifeboat, so no tabling. A freak Nym strike and later an insane unmodified dice roll conspired against me. But I took a risk and was punished for it. Call it greed if u will ?

So with this small win to start with was below the top until the very last game, when the top 3-0 players faced off in table 1 while I was on table 2.

Anyway. Turns out the Rieekan aceholes player on the top table had missed the sadv FAQ, so that caused his Yavaris to die 1 round early and it fell apart for him... If only he'd won 6-5 I would have won Nordics ?

As i said, i found it unusally. But this happens in Aramda from time to time (one reason i prefer one extra round over a cut).

Rieekan aceholes player... Somehow this sound way to close to an real insult. I would not be suprissed when this ends on the filter really soon .
