Hey folks,

I know this is likely answered elsewhere already, but just couldn't see it. In relation to the previous editions, what is the current year/time period? It's been ages since I last read any of the L5R material, so coming back to it, and just getting my head around the time line again (and anxiously awaiting the setting book to be released soon)

1123 (iirc) - but being that it has been rebooted, I recommend that you go over to the LCG forum and check out the collected fictions thread there.
Most things are the same as in previous editions but enough subtle and not-so-subtle changes have happened that it's really a new thing.

Cheers - that's kind of what I remembered hearing as well. Just wanted more to be sure I wasn't misremembering anything
