I don't think that FFG will develop both TCW and the GCW eras for Armada.

If they start making the CIS and Republic the Rebels and Imperials will be put on the furthest back burner. On the bright side Clone Wars Armada could possibly have expansions made faster than current Armada.

I dont think well get another era, id sooner imagine new factions for the current edition( cis) or implementation of clone wars era ships into the line up( republic, like the pelta was)

I can't help but wonder if the reason we get such spaced-out content is that they're running out of GCW-era stuff to make. Short of squadron packs we've been shown EU content is being avoided, to put it generously. Whether we're shifting to Sequel or PT content is uncertain, but I really think it's one of the two (or the game is discontinued, but that's an old theory I still don't subscribe to.)

I am pretty firm in this line of thinking. When Disney cut all the now Legends content, they cut a huge chunk of the star ships from the franchise, especially for GCW. Not to mention, GCW is kinda, just, kitbashed stuff anyway... Like, the fact we have to use the official models is a little frustrating to me at least. I mean, you dont absolutely have to if your playing a casual game, but for the most part people want to play strictly to competitive rules.

I forsee new factions for armada, that are the republic and cis.
