Arcane Lock

Back in 1st edition (sorry didn't play second so i have not idea) there was a arcane open/lock type mechanism in the game for spellcasters.

I am building a short adventure and need to put in an Arcane lock. Is this opened by the Cantrip spell? How would you guys handle this?

Without being able to offer any other help, I recall arcane lock being an issue in the first WFRP scenario ever printed "Web of Eldaw."

Simple spell

Add challenge dice based on how complex the lock is, or how well warded if magic.

Boons disable any extra traps, do it sliently etc.

Chaos damages the lock - can't be opened if fails, or open but broke if successful
Or damages the contents - sets of traps etc.
