So, Ohio regional?

By mykelen, in Warhammer Invasion Community

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet. Maybe I'm just not seeing it? But other than the time and place, what can anyone tell me about it? It's only a two hour drive for me (Toledo) and I can't see why I won't be there with a few friends. Who else is going? Any particular rules? Cover charge? Free pizza? Any good restaurants nearby?

yeah for realz!!! where is it? Fairborn??

Fairborn is near Dayton, which isn't too far. Is anyone going to this? Who is running it?

I know of three of us that are going from the Washington Court House area.

Here is the web for Southern Ohio Regional playing site. http://www.bookeryfantasy.com/ Then hit Games on the left and it will take you to info. There is the game place on one side of the street and a comic book store on the other with more comics than you have seen in your life, and expensive rare ones also.

There are a lot of Warhammer players there on the weekend playing with the minatures, I have only met 3 Warhammer the Invasion players there so far but I am new myself. It is just a little east of Dayton Ohio and north of Beavercreek Ohio.

I will be there to watch. Don't know the game like you guys.

BTW, their site only shows comic books and not all the games for sale where the regionals are held. They have a really nice selection of board games, and D&D, Warhammer and other role playing games. Dayton Ohio is about a hour north of Cincinnati Ohio and about a hour and a half west of Columbus ohio. Fairborn is just a few miles south of Hiway 70 so not too hard to get to. It is also near hiway 675, and hiway 35.

awesome! thanks, grew up in cleveland so not familiar with central ohio, but will definitely be there!
