Finding 3 Points

By The Jabbawookie, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Trying to make this all fit. The idea is to maneuver Defiance into a blocking position, drop in the 75, drop the Hammerhead. Then Hondo + Ahsoka for 2 squad tokens, Hammerhead spends a brace, they're forced to burn that brace against an HH attack (as I'd burn it for them later,) 75 pops BTs and shoots twice, Defiance cleans up any remaining pieces. I really want Lando on the 75 to prevent being one-shot by a lucky Avenger Kuat roll, and Comms Net because ET Defiance loves tokens. I could drop Ahsoka and just use the HH dial. With no dice control, a CF token might be just as good as a CF command... but that still leaves me a point over. Walex to SAd? EWS to RBDs?

Either Hondo and QS or Ahsoka and QS really. Or drop a 3 point card.

I'm not really one to talk but do you really need 2 boarding troopers? Also, if you don't want to do that, switch EWS with RBD

That’s not a bad idea. The dual BTs force them to burn the token against a low-damage Hammerhead shot (the External Racks will be shot out the side.) Anything else and they have the choice to brace a bigger shot. The copy on the Hammerhead isn’t the most important upgrade in the list, but I’ve opted for @Karneck ‘s suggestion and ditched Ahsoka and QS, which will usually cost 0-1 damage off the attack. If I sorely miss QS, Hondo goes (~2 damage.) Next in line would be BTs (2-4) or EWS. Thanks!
