Arkham Nights UK

By Whizzwang, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

In his house at Huddersfield UK, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.

I have had to sit in this info for over a week now and I'm close to bursting. IQ games in Huddersfield will be hosting ARKHAM NIGHTS UK... yes you read that right. Arkham Nights will be held in the UK on Sat/Sun 24th-25th November complete with the official participation promos!!!

Tickets will be going on sale this week. Save the date. More info coming soon.

Is this the Invocation event, or one like the US?

Excellent, thanks for the link!

Wow! Tickets are pretty cheap! Comes to -- what? about $13. Hopefully a lot of people will take advantage of this so they will be more inclined to do it again next year.

Whoa! That's everything that was at the US one, but at a fifth the price.

I checked the ticket page - it says “Out of stock”.

Is this sold out already?

I believe the information page said that they would release them in waves, but that only the first wave would get the Arkham Nights swag. I guess it is just these initial tickets which have sold out.

Hmm. I wonder if those were the gift bags left over from the US Nights.

I know that there were rumors of an Arkham Nights Europe in the future that would be over the same days. No idea what there credibility is, but I turn around and there's an Arkham Nights UK, so who knows.

The tickets are cheaper because it appears the person running this event is eating some of the costs to run it (ie. staffing costs, & etc) and things like ‘playing with the designers,’ and preview of AH 3E, or 16player EH may not be run.

That is awesome of them to do that. Hopefully they'll be able to get some kind of events going. AH:3e should be out by then, so they *should* have demos of that going. To be honest though, I only partook in one event the whole time -- played 3e with one of the designers. Spent a while talking with friends and playing games on our own. Even without the events, you can make it what you want it to be.
