So how does this play out. If the 3 creature are my and my opponent plays poison wave. But Shadow self has taken 8 dame before poison wave was played does it just kill shadow self or will shadow self take the 2 dame from hunting witch and dust pixie and befor it dies.

Deal 2 damage to Shadow Self first, then 2 damage to the other creatures.

This has already been answered by Brad Andres on Facebook. Damage is simultaneous, so all damage goes to Shadow Self, then it is destroyed.

Ah, for whatever reason, I misread this as one of the destroy most powerfuls. Good call.
