I don't get why FFG converted the firespray ( slave 1 )to scum and villainy! lots of wasted money ?

How much wasted money, and how?

It should only be S&V. Bounty Hunters are not part of the Imperial army or fleet.

I still think some way to play a tiny bit cross-faction (like, only one ship, and at a steep cost, possibly requiring you to put a required crew onto that ship) could be interesting but I know lots of us fear that because of Star Trek Attack Wing.

Maybe a scenario could exist for it as well.

Also, casual play, do whatever you want.

I seriously doubt there's much money being wasted or lost here.

I would like to see an upgrade similar to configurations that would allow scum ships (and maybe some rebels) to be taken by other factions.

People that say the Firespray is not Imperial is like saying the YT-1300 was not Rebel. Granted in Wave 2 (and just about every other Star Wars game) Slave 1 was the counterpart to Millennium Falcon because Boba Fet was seen as the nemesis to Han Solo. Han Solo was not a rebel, he was a smuggler, later he joined the rebels because after breaking out of an imperial detention block and attacking a high level imperial official that resulted in the destruction of an entire imperial battlestation kind of makes you a person of interest in the I.S.B.. Sure Boba Fet did not enlist, he went back to Jabba the Hutt but you have to admit that Jabba was in good standings with the Empire because the let him run a planet and gave him custody of a dangerous traitor that did considerable damage to the Empire.

If the YT-1300 is cross faction then so can the Bounty Hunter ships be cross faction. Quite frankly I think all YTs should have Scum pilots and all Bounty Hunters should be an option for Imperial lists. Oh well, we can all custom format for scenario play.
