How's it going, y'all? Are there any plans in the works for a Clone Wars edition of the game? Battle-droids and Clone Troopers would be interesting to see in the future, especially if they would be compatible with the standard game. Thank you for your time.

Yes, Clone Wars factions will be coming in 2019.

Well... Clone wars something is coming in 2019. Whether it is factions or not.... We don't know yet. I know, I know, most likely it will be factions but the announcement was vague.

@JollyGreenHulk we don’t have the specifics, except we know that Clone Wars is coming to legion next year.

What else would it possibly be? We already know the new Core is going to be Gungans versus Geonosians.

and x wing is doing separatists and the old republic, so clones (and jedis) and battle-droids make sense

If Clone wars is hopefully 2 full factions this game will have established itself as a full fledged wargame. I know a few of the 40k guys who are hesitant to play a game with not much variety.

It’s not going to be there on release day, but it’s ultimately going that direction.

They will be as fully fleshed out as our current factions at least. Plenty of content between the prequel movies and clone wars tv to draw on.

I am hoping they release half core sets if they do release new factions. With a commander, two corps and a support.

Apparently that's what they did for Runescape, so hopefully that was successful enough to justify doing it for Legion.

I got that at my game store too, why many didn't want to switch over or jump into Legion. Only for me to see them play the same list over and over against same 2 opponents. Makes you think if its the availability more than what they actually take that makes it appealing.

Yeah I think it's people like the idea of so much variety available...if they wanted to buy it.

But the larger scenes do have variety which you just can't get from legion atm.
