Happy Friday!

By Yosh6314, in Star Wars: Armada

Happy Friday everyone, I noticed @Cubanboy didn't do a happy friday for whatever reason for today so in continuing the tradition this is this weeks question:

What is your favorite ship configuration?

MC75 Armored Cruiser (104)
• Admiral Ackbar (38)
• Walex Blissex (5)
• Gunnery Team (7)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Aspiration (3)
= 173 Points

The above is how I build my favorite configuration of the MC75 with Walex to help with having only 2 defence tokens, QBTs to assure a blue to trigger Leading Shots even at long range and the natural black and blues in the front so its less likely to get boxed in by smaller craft. Also Ackbar as where dice are concerned, bigger fistfulls = more fun.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO CUBAN BOY!! IMPOSTER!!!

On topic, my most Nostalgic ship configuration

Clonisher:

gsd-1: Demo, Expanded launcher, Intel officer, Engine techs, ordinance experts.

My favorite new configuration

Isd-kuat: Avenger, Boarding troopers, Leading shots, Strategic advisor(or Pryce) + some more stuff if I got points

Raider I (44)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• External Racks (3)
= 51 Points of awesome

MC80 Star Cruiser (96)
• General Dodonna (20)
• Mon Karren (8)
• Strategic Adviser (4)
• Caitken and Shollan (6)
• Engine Techs (8)
• Spinal Armament (9)
• XX-9 Turbolasers (5)
• SW-7 Ion Batteries (5)
= 161 total ship cost

near and dear to my heart

Happy Friday! Hang in there ladies and gentlemen. We will be getting Armada news sooner than we all think!

This is just a fun build I like to do. Fly up next to an ISD and erase it.

MC80 Command Cruiser (106)
• Admiral Ackbar (38)
• Flight Commander (3)
• Rapid Launch Bays (6)
• Reinforced Blast Doors (5)
• Heavy Ion Emplacements (9)
• Enhanced Armament (10)
• Defiance (5)
= 182 Points

Squadrons:
• 4 x Y-wing Squadron (40)
= 40 Points

Dead tie between:

The Imp II was the hitter in my pre wave 5 pulse tap fleet, at medium range it could guarantee 7 hits on a tapped ship, but often peaked at 10-12... It was enough that most ships at blue range didn't survive a round against it.

The Kuat is my current favorite. With close to an 86% chance of getting one of the two crits needed for this jank-***-combo naturally (no con fire & no devastator), it can hit very hard. Needs to get close though... can be tough against small ships.

Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer (120 points)
- Admiral Screed ( 26 points)
- Avenger ( 5 points)
- Captain Needa ( 2 points)
- Gunnery Team ( 7 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- Turbolaser Reroute Circuits ( 7 points)
- SW-7 Ion Batteries ( 5 points)
= 179 total ship cost

Imperial Star Destroyer Kuat Refit (112 points)
- Admiral Screed ( 26 points)
- Devastator ( 10 points)
- Strategic Adviser ( 4 points)
- Fire-Control Team ( 2 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- Heavy Ion Emplacements ( 9 points)
- Assault Concussion Missiles ( 7 points)
= 177 total ship cost

She's slow and doesn't turn very well (sans Jerjerrod), but I love a good VSD II sniper.

Victory II-class Star Destroyer (85)

- Gunnery Team (7)

- Leading Shots (4)

- XI& Turbolasers (6)

- Disposable Capacitors (3)

= 105 total ship cost

Happy Friday Cubanboy!

ISD Kuat Refit (112)
• Darth Vader (3)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• Leading Shots (4)
• External Racks (3)
= 129 Points

Squadrons:
• Captain Jonus (16)
= 16 Points

Love striping off ECM and blasting a ship to Oblivion.

MC80 Battle Cruiser (103 points)
- Endeavor ( 4 points)
- Bail Organa ( 7 points)
- Gunnery Team ( 7 points)
- Engine Techs ( 8 points)
- Spinal Armament ( 9 points)
- Quad Turbolaser Cannons ( 10 points)
- Leading Shots ( 4 points)
= 152 total ship cost

(With the caveat that next door is an MC80 with Home One)

Accuracies galore and guaranteed six red dice to play with at long range.

MC75 Armored Cruiser (104)
• Lando Carissian (4)
• Boarding Troopers (3)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• External Racks (3)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Aspiration (3)
= 133 Points

Raddus and Hondo somewhere else. Don't be afraid to drop at speed 1 in front of a star destroyer for the QBTs; they'll usually die first.

One of mine is:

ISD II(120)

  • Admiral (use it for Sloan and Thrawn) (24/32)
  • Captain Brunson (5)
  • Electronic Countermeasures(7)
  • Gunnery Team(7)
  • Avenger(5)
  • XI7 Turbolasers(6)
  • Leading Shots(4)

=178/186

For Thrawn, depending on the rest of the fleet, I sometimes switch Avenger for Relentless, allowing me to make even more use of the Thrawn dials to plan my commands and adjust to the situation.

This ?

life happened so thanks for picking up my slack

-MC30c Scout

-Foresight

-Major Derlin

-Ordnace Experts

-Early Warning Systems

-External Racks or APTs

-TRC

Just stay at long range and you're so difficult to kill.

Just stay at long range with a MC30c + APT/ExRacks? Hard to win with!

Happy Friday to all MC30c lovers!

Edited by Triangular

Quaser Fire I

Squall

Pryce

Flight controllers

Boosted Comms

Along with Jendon, Steele, Morna, Rhymer.

Anti squad or anti ship, this combo lays the smackdown.

Yeah... but you gotta put something in that slot.

Kuat with Chimaera, Ordnance Experts, ACMs, Early Warning Systems, IE, and Strat Adviser. Make things go BOOM! Best with Advanced Gunnery.

Happy Friday!

Currently, this is my favorite single ship build.

Victory I-Class Star Destroyer (73 points)
- Dominator ( 12 points)
- Minister Tua ( 2 points)
- Gunnery Team ( 7 points)
- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)
- XX-9 Turbolasers ( 5 points)
- External Racks ( 3 points)
= 109 total ship cost

it pairs amazingly well with @Darth SanguisSanguis Kuat SD build! ;)

Good build. Good ship. But maybe wrong strategy for black dice?

Not if you are running Ackbar or Mothma and you can zoom in for one swift attack, Ex Racks is better for that strategy. Im running something like that in my next game against @M0N0LITH
