I’m very new to the game. Tonight was actually my first time playing in person and my third game total and I finally won! I know, I know, but it’s still pretty exciting for me, haha.

I was using crane. I’m going through each clan to see which I like the best. So far I’ve played scorpion, crab and crane

4 times out of 5, you won't get the card you need. But the fifth time, you'll top deck something like a Contingency Plan or a Kami to let you win out of the blue.

Honestly we could well create a separate topic and compare our suffering win-rates just for the sheer masochism.

I'm a casual player who attends store events from time to time and try the occasional Jigoku -- I'm scoring 31% after 41 games, most of them being played with Dragon, and my most recent wins being with my new clan Unicorn (went 2-1 recently, so yay). This game is one ****** test of resilience.

Heh...I haven't actually kept count of my games, but I could probably get a semi-accurate total, if I really wanted to wallow... *does math*

Well I guess it'd not as bad as I thought, of the games I can actually remember playing (mostly competitive setting) it would seem I'm at 4-17. So about a 19% win rate. Though I suppose for full disclosure, 2 of those wins were single core games in the Kiku Matsuri, including one against a Unicorn player who bid away his last honor during draw phase because he thought he didn't lose from dishonoring himself to 0 until the end of the turn...lol.

Counting to zero is pretty easy for me!

Don't play all that often, not sure how many games I've played overall, but "I have yet to win a game" is pretty easy to keep track of.

The new game is vastly better-designed than the CCG was. I'm also way, way, way worse at it.
