Is Kitsuki Shomon able to use her reaction to redirect a dishonor effect to herself if she is already in a dishonored state?

If Kitsuki Shomon is already dishonored, she cannot trigger her ability to ready, as she will not be able to redirect the dishonor to herself (not a valid game state change) and thus the pre-Then text will not be fulfilled.
