I just took a closer look at the New Coreset.

What is the reason for putting 2x Night Beast, 2x Iden Versio and 2x Valen Rudor in the coreset ?

This does not make any sense ? why not make one of each and then put more generics ? This is basically a waste of Cardboard.?!

And probably waste of more money than necessary?

Since there's 3 different generics and 3 uniques across 2 ships, you need minimum 5 tokens to cover every possible combination (9 useful faces and one redundant extra). The one extra token isn't a big deal really, maybe they had exactly that space on the punch board, or originally planned to include more pilots and changed partway through but the tooling for the punchboard cutout was done already.
