Mantra of Earth states "...opponents' card effects cannot target that character."
It reads differently to Above Question. ("...cannot be chosen as a target of an opponent's event.")
Does this mean that Mantra of Earth can only stop targetting by cards like Court Games, where the target is chosen after the dash?
No, Mantra of Earth should apply to all targeting abilities, the same as Above Question.

I could jump through hoops to avoid applying errata to Mantra of Earth, but it would be clearer if I did. It will be updated in Rules Reference Guide 1.7.
