Beginnings of my lothal table.
Did some paint work after the xwing tourney and now its in primer. I still have 1 roof to print for the storage shed. I added more wall sections as well. Ill have a fair bit of terrian to get finished soon. Already laying out my next tables. Ill be rotating out terrian at my flgs and setting up tables for our tourneys. Just my way of giving back.
Great work. Looks amazing ?

Thanks. Ive still yet to finish it up. Might get to worknon it some tomorrow
Do you coat the wall texture with anything to make it more durable? I'd imagine it might flake off a lot.
They make several textured paints as well, which you can then repaint over.
This is maybe a topic for another forum, but man, I wish there was a starter kit or forum for 3D printing stuff like this. I don't know if it would ever pay for itself, but it looks like fun
I just put a base color coat down over the wall compound and a another texture paint over the top.

It sorta paid for itsself in the first table of terrian. Recently did a tie fighter and the kit was 50 bucks vs 6 hours and 2 dollars worth of fillament. Loaded the print and painted minis while it was being made. The star wars legion terrian group on facebooknis great as well.

Does it address what type of printer to buy and where to get materials etc? Tinkering is not scary, buying a 1000 machine and getting the "wrong one" is intimidating
I bought a $200 anet a8 kit and filiment is available on ebay amazon hatchbox etc. Ill be investing in another printer soon enough.

Why do you need another one so soon though?
I'd love to print my own figures too, but I don't see as much of that going on.
Lookingvto atart printing stuff for others. Ive got 2 printers currently that run quite a bit.
