Request for the kids making the App could we add the x-Wing rules to the app

A searchable rules database with hyperlinks to the RRG's glossary entries would be a very nice addition to the app.

I am sure they could.

But without even dials or condition cards we are along way our from things like a referancable rules index. Would love to be able to say double tap the barrel roll symbol and have the rules for that pop up.

Given that they can't even add pricing and list building rules to the app reliably and correctly, I very much doubt it.

Just drop it in iBooks. It’s searchable and easy.

Like any PDF viewer.... Not sure how you can look at it without it being searchable.

The issue is it would be nice to open it right in the app and not have to switch over to another application, as well as having rules hotlinked to stuff in the app. Like a small button, you could click that would open up the FAQ reference for the pilot you are looking at. These are things the application should be able to do if they actually did a good job developing it.

With so many problems with the app, I would hope this would be a low priority.

I agree, and hope the app improves and becomes a professional level product. But in the meantime I made a searchable Rules Reference with working hyperlinks for key words that might come in handy:

Yes it is a good idea, but first of all ffg should probably work to solve the millions of problems of the app......

No dials, the app crash continiously , no condition card visible and once you saved your squadron you can't read the card unless you modify.

That should come after the ability to consistently do math. It’s ridiculous that squads have different point values depending on which screen you’re on.

I haven’t noticed this, are you sure you aren’t using the variable cost upgrades?

They could be added to the app but that would be an improvement to the app, so I don't imagine it'll happen.

A guy I played at our league this Thursday didn’t know if his barrage rocket swarm was 198 or 200 because it was 198 in his list of saved squads and 200 when he opened it. No variable upgrades

We had to do the math ourselves, like peasants! It was awful!

What is the point? You still wouldn't be able to look at it offline..

While we're putting in feature requests, how about a scoreboard functionality so we don't have to constantly calculate MoV during matches?

If they just added the bomb rules, so you can see what the bomb you're putting in a build actually does, that would be a start.

And dial pictures, of course.

Well yeah. Ideally they would have an app that works offline, but again that's an improvement, so not likely to happen.
