Question from prebeginner - buy artifact cards

By Shakasu, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Hello
I love Card games and I want try play Arkham
What deck is best to learn and where can I read something about game mechanic and tips?
thank you

Have you heard about the new Artifact card games from Valve? I'm learning which decks are the most optimal for this game. For now I like the graphics and drawings, they resemble the characters from Dota and Dota 2 :-) However, I am thinking about three things.
1) When the beta runs out
2) Will you be able to buy Artifact cards
3) Where to buy Artifact Cards

When I get answers to all the questions, it's possible that I will be ready to buy Artifact and Artifact card games

Artifact will have the premiere date of 29 November, until then you can think about what cards are worth buying to create an optimal and playable deck. You can find builds and decks for the Articaft Card Game from Valve - also on the Internet at Odealo . I would love to buy Artifact Cards and Decks, if possible. I look forward to the day when my favorite heroes and characters from DOTA will settle on cards and I will be able to buy these cards with great hope :-)
However, I have a few rules and definitions which I am loyal to, for example if I make any purchases, I only buy in stores and Artifact Trading Markets that have a great opinion and feeds. If I read on the Internet and agree that people whom I trust respect our movement and our actions - you can follow the instructions and help me do the best for you. Trade takes place only with the consent of both parties, so if both buyers and sellers do it voluntarily, it means that they want to do it and benefit from it. That's why I want to buy Artifact cards so much. Have you asked where you can buy Artifact cards? I'm buying Artifact Cards in this Artifact Trading Market

Basically you should start out with the core set and play with the decks that they have premade for you. You can from there make tweaks and changes. Use the first few games to learn the rules and make mistakes. Because all of us have made many many mistakes playing this game. And most importantly... Have fun. :)

And don't expect to win everything. This game's campaigns are about mitigating bad stuff. I've never gotten a perfect score (as it were) in The Night of the Zealot, but I've gotten better and better at it as I've played. Sometimes, you get to choose between two bad things - is it better for you now or later, does this help you or someone else - roleplaying the characters (all of whom are distinct and interesting having been created over several Arkham Horror games) can be pretty cool.

There are scenarios that have difficult decisions that are made without all of the ramifications listed, and you may have to play another 1 or 2 scenarios to see why you should have chosen that other option.

If you take that as inspiring and neat, you'll enjoy this game. You can't win all things all the time, but if you can live with that, it sure is fun.

The downtime between the scenarios - breaking down the card pools, reading the resolution, setting up the next scenario - has a piece in the middle where you spend earned XP to upgrade your deck. That's pretty darn fun too.

I started paying a month ago, purely as a solo game and love it!!! This forum has been very helpful. I started with the core set and have played each investigator through the core scenarios at least once to get a feel for each one and to see any possibilities before delving deeper. I've since been buying the scenarios in order, starting with the Dunwhich Legacy and am now up to Part V Undimensioned and Unseen.

Even after you've played a few times and kind of know what to expect, it still boils do to making the best choice of several bad choices depending on the situation. And don't think that each scenario will play out basically the same. Things will occur that will alter your decision making that didn't occur other times you played, still making each replay a bit unpredictable. Most of all, don't think you have to "win" every time. When I first bought the game, my investigators went insane or died on a regular basis until I got the hang of playing those types of investigators.
