Hi guys and Gals,
Have been trying to play some Guri, have also been reading Phil GC accounts and looking over his lists, but was wondering how you guys are building Guri, and what you are running her with??
Thx

In my mind, Guri needs A) advanced sensors and B) a decent bid
then you look at C) extra stuff.
I like Predator and outmaneuver on her. The title seems fun, but I've never felt the need to use it when I've equipped it.
If Guri is your closer, then there needs to be something else to take the heat off (and hopefully kill off any I6 I5 aces that would be a pain for Guri in the end game). That's why you see Boba so often. Palob and Quad jumpers do similar things, by making your opponents ships easier for Guri to kill. Palob with Lando is a threatening piece. Nym is a thought to control the board and keep things away from jousting Guri directly.
I propose AdSen and Predator always on Guri. Everything else is optional. Boba is already a tried and true partner, but I'll be damned if tugs (preferably with some informants around) aren't just FANTASTIC to lock down her target
Guri with advanced sensors and outmanuever is very good
Suggested partners from my side are Fenn and Palob
Also had fun with Lando and three quadjumpers to go along with guri

What HE said. also Boba is solid wingman. ull have enough pts to load up both ships and have a 8-10pt init bid.
Guri is a points trap. Run her nude. The only thing she needs is a good bid.
I like Guri with AS, Outmaneuver, Virago, and Afterburners. I'm currently using Fearless Fenn and coordinating lando.
Really fun list to fly, and quite strong. Ah, and a 7p bid.

Went 4-2 in the Spanish Nationals with that list this weekend, but sadly missed the cut by 61 MOV. Had a blast, though.

4-2 is very good effort. what did u lose to? would u make any changes to ur list?

Wedge. I faced him in 4 of my 6 games, and my 2 losses were against him. I don't really understand the big point difference between him and Fenn Rau, both being I6.
I lost against Wedge, Thane, Garven (X-Wing), AP-5 in the last turn of the game as Wedge got a R3 TL Focus shot on a 2 hull focused Fenn. I really missed 1.0 autothrusters in that roll haha. Wedge had 4 damage cards on him but he had Hull Upgrade... I also lost against Proton Wedge, Proton Luke, and Kyle Katarn. I was only able to kill Kyle, and lost everything but half Fenn.
I don't think I would make big changes as the list worked pretty well, I know I made some mistakes that I really paid.
I'm working on a batrep with a lot of pictures. I'll post it in the forum as soon as I get it done.

gr8. lookn fed to the batrap. im a scumplayer and although i havent played 2.0 yet i did play fenn a bit in 1.0. i know what u mean about autothrusters. seems like ships r in general a bit more vulnerable in 2.0

Fenn is REALLY expensive, and the only buff he received is the wording of the Concordia Faceoff, which now triggers even if you're not facing your enemy. Just by being in the enemy's primary arc at R1 you can change a die to an evade. You have to play him very cautiously, but he still packs a punch at R1. Not being able to double reposition like other aces do really changes the way you play him from 1.0.

2.0 Fenn probably needs a shield or hull upgrade but as u say, hes pretty expensive already. Guri really performs the sort of role as a knife fighter aka arc dodging flanker..

That's also my thought. Squishy as ever but with less defensive mods.
I feel like you need to put him in a list in which you can offer juicier and tankier targets for the first engagement, allowing Fenn to flank. Being range one in arc is fine for the double modified finishing move, but not in the early or mid game
