I know that thin Fel builds are a thing. I've had some luck flying Fel w/ Lone wolf and stealth device flanking alongside Whisper w/ Juke and Vader, and Redline with fcs proton torps and prockets.

I've started thinking that Fel might also be decent with Juke. Shooting at I-6, he's almost guaranteed to still have an evade token if that's his action, which leaves him free to spend it later. You'd still get the red reposition after evading, and it's not hard to land the bullseye arc with Fel for the free focus token. So I guess what I'm looking for is feedback on which you'd prefer to fly and why? Fel-Juke-SD or Fel-LW-SD?

I flew Elusive+SD and it was fairly effective even if all I had was focus.

The problem came in about that charge Regen. I was tempted to often never autothrusters and self stress so that I could execute those reds and get my elusive back.

Short answer:

Elusive is okay, Lone Wolf probably better, but in the imperial faction, unless you're flying a two ship build, lone wolf is probably not gonna proc every time you need it.

Juke is probably the safest bet.

Why is predator better than lone wolf? Predator only allows rerolling attack, not defense.

Fel+Predator is the new Fel+PTL. Lone wolf isn't bad if you can arrange to not have to use it on defense. I like the Palp Shuttle as my 3rd ship if there's a stealth device on board.

Stealth device pops *SO* much easier in 2.0 than it did in 1.0. Rocks, bombs, and even goofy 2 dice attacks from range three are a threat to it. I'm cool with predator if you have to points to spare. It synergies with his bullseye for the focus on his pilot ability. Otherwise lean and mean Fel is best Fel.

This is correct

Naked or Predator. If you want to put lone wolf, juke or outmaneuver, choose naked or predator instead and use the rest as bid. That is true for every EPT so far.

Makes sense. I like juke over LW because it lets me keep Fel in with the rest of the squad. I'll give predator another look. Dropping SD gives me some points to play with, that's for sure.

Because Fel wants to fly close and your allies get in the way.

With Predator he’s 54pts that can do so much more than 54pts before he dies and he doesn’t die much. People rarely even try and shoot him because they fee like they are wasting shots, but most of the time you shouldn’t be in arcs anyway.

Lone Wolf is better in smaller ship count lists and on ships that are endgame closers or endgame tanks. For the Imperials that would probably be Ryad or Brath.

I’ve flown them both and Lone Wolf never triggered but Predator almost always triggers.
