My money's on wild speculation.

Well, that’s just wild speculation.

I mean I wouldn't doubt it, the alleged stats were: - Mil / - Pol / 6 Glory, with an ability similar to Kanjo District. Like a Kanjo and Super Imperial Palace rolled into one, lol. But probably a one per deck card because #Balance.
I have updated this with recent speculation and the Unicorn pack cards.
I reckon that we're only getting as far as 4-cost for the clans in Children, and that there might not be a holding for the Unicorn in Warriors.
Dat Loyal Challenger has them stats tho. Depending on Duel it might easily take Rumormonger's slot!
So, I was thinking about the 4-costers for the other clans. A couple leap out, but the others are a bit more difficult:
Any opinions?
If Kamoko isn't in the Unicorn pack or the CotE big box there are going to be bunch of angry barbarians at the gate

Dunno, I don’t see any Elemental Master costing less than 5. They’re at the same level as Clan Champions, and would be weird to have one of those at cost 4.

Maybe the youngest, and thus least experienced and -powerful of the Masters might be understandable as a 4-cost?
Or the oldest, ought-to-have retired, but refuses to name a successor Elemental Master of Air might be a 4.

That’s Tadaka, and he already cost 5.
Eju is actually the oldest Elemental Master.
I’m not even sure we’ll get a card of him before he dies of old age.
Also, following that same logic, Tsukune should’ve costed 4.
Edited by Tabris2kSpoilers from The Jade Throne Podcast. They uploaded them to Facebook. Spoiler season is starting!
The Dragon is good, I think, because moving 1 fate means he’s basically a 2/2/2 for 2 that nets you an honor.
The Lion is all or nothing. She either win the duel and conflict to go home unbowed as a 4/3, ready to participate in the second conflict, or lose the conflict and becomes a 0/0 that goes unbowed (at best), or a 0/0 that made an enemy return home unbowed (at worst). I suppose you can slap a Katana on her, send her to a POL conflict to bully a poor courtier, and then return home as a 6/3 for the next MIL conflict.

Or she could win the duel but lose the conflict and go home as an unbowed 0/0.
Not only lets you gain an honor you otherwise wouldn't, also keeps it from your opponent. I like it a bit.

He put the fate to another ring, that you will probably use, but it's not a 2 fate still. Maybe you just want to move fate for force your opponent in a different chose for the ring.
Anyway:
This is broken, in my opinion

At least it's Shinobi only or it would be splashed like crazy

Already got that covered in the “at best” case of losing a conflict. 😉

I suppose you mean Fate. It lets you gain an honor AND gain a fate, that you also keep from your opponent. I like it more than a bit.

You pay 3, recover 1 Fate, effectively making it a 2 Fate. Except in some corner cases, if you don’t recover that Fate, you’re playing him wrong.

Totally. Dropbears just keep getting stronger.
Edited by Tabris2kYeah, I meant keeps a fate from an opponent. Situationally good, much better when you're playing the 'fate on rings shenanigans' game. When it's good, it's really good, but it's not always that good, seemed like to me.
Infiltration tools seems crazy good, though. Might need to wait for more shinobi to be printed, but when there's the shinobi deck, this will be a staple 3x.
Well, here we have the counter for that Dragon monk...
Also, popping a Yurt is a “ready at will” for her.
I have the feeling CotE is gonna have a lot of Honor shenanigans. Which is good, more honor movement could mean less “bid 5” meta.
Oh, the spoiler is from The 6th Ring podcast.
Edited by Tabris2kAnother one, this time from Discord:
Seems good. Is good? I think is good.
Edited by Tabris2kLooks like another good reason to bid low!
Funny thing is, I think this is going to have polarizing effects where people bid 1 or 5 so they can make the most out of their 'composure' turns and recover cards as quickly as possible. The good news is, this will turn on events like Good Omen more frequently, because there will be more turns where people unexpectedly bid high or low.
I have a feeling this guy's going to be assassinated a lot.
1 minute ago, AradonTemplar said:I have a feeling this guy's going to be assassinated a lot.
Not if he wins the POL duel first... 😉
Funny thing is, if you trigger the duel, it's very likely the opponent will use the opportunity to bid 1 and turn off his ability. You might win the duel, but you'll drop 2 pol that way.
Are we sure that this guy winning would stop Assassination? It seems it would only stop Court Games and Way of the Crab.
Hmm, I'd guess there's still a Crab and a Crane spoiler out there, waiting to be revealed.
Also, I'm about to update the OP.
