What happens if I automatically win and fail the same test ? This can happen.
Automatically win and fail the same test
OKay, I'm curious. How?
For example if you are Poisoned in TFA some tokens cause also Auto-fail, without being Tentacles, so theoretically you can use Stroke of Luck's exile. Now you have an test that auto -failed and auto-succeded in the same time, but I guess is 0 skill to 0 difficulty, so you still fail. Just want to be sure.
I was sure I had read that you failed in that situation, but I can't find the source.

To clear things up: When performing a test with a skill value of zero against a difficulty of zero you only fail the test by drawing a tentacle (or any other auto-fail).
I might have read somewhere that when a test fails and succeeds t the same time, it succeeds. Though i cannot cite any source to proof my claim
QuoteWhat happens if a skill test both automatically succeeds and automatically fails simultaneously?
If a skill test both automatically succeeds and automatically fails, the automatic failure takes precedence, and the test automatically fails.
From the FAQ v1.4
The chance for this to happen is playing as Mateo (with an autosucceed elder sign), who runs Olive McBride. When you draw three tokens and choose two to resolve, you could draw elder sign, elder thing (with a horrid effect, like an enemy attack) and auto-fail. In that instance, you might opt to resolve the elder sign and autofail together, and, as @Astrophil84 rightly points out, the automatic failures trumps the automatic success.
