Warpstone Excavation + Order

By Scarow, in Warhammer Invasion Deck Building

Warpstone excavation is currently being effectively abused in most Destruction decks. With Order being more defensive/counterattack/mobility has anyone done testing using Warpstone Excavation? A couple of Order decks in my playgroup are using it. 3 Warpstone + 3 Contested Village + 3 Innovation seem to be the standard. With warpstores in QZ, Empire mobility doesn't suffer as much.

I also think that the other zero-cost cards (Order support, in particular) are a little underrated. With increased draw from warpstones, zero-cost cards are even more attractive.

Thoughts?

They're certainly worth considering; Defend Tor Aendris, Master Rune of Valaya, Gift Aenarion, Sigmar's Intervention and various Dwarf attrition cards all give you a way to stop an attack even when everyone is corrupted. And you can always develop them if you draw them late or it looks like you'll need to defend on short notice. I still think there are probably more decks that shouldn't play them than should, but for most Order decks, they aren't going to be a disastrous inclusion.
