Path to Carcosa - Non-spoiler advice?

By Antimarkovnikov, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Since someone made a topic for Forgotten Age, I figured it would be okay to ask you guys for tips for the campaign my partner and I are starting.

We just finishing up our second run through of Dunwhich. We lost our first go around at Where Doom Awaits and just last week did a second run through and finally got to Lost in Time and Space. I played Rex and she played Zoey. Now, we're about ready to dive into the Path to Carcosa relatively blind. I'm planning on playing William Yorick, and she's going to play Daisy Walker.

I've seen some deckbuilding spoilers and know that adding Fine Clothes is probably a great choice. I'm not sure if I should give them to one character or split them up. I also know about some of the random upgrade cards in the later mythos packs. (Especially Cherished Keepsake.)

So, any advice you all can sling my way would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

I played Yorick through Carcosa. Leather Coat and Cherished keepsake are both awesome for him, since you can use his ability to put them back into play at zero resource cost. He also combos with the basic knife really well - use the stronger discard ability to attack and as long as you hit the enemy and it's a killing blow, you can immediately put the knife back into play for 1 resource.

Being able to pass a lot of will checks came in handy for my group of investigators a lot of the time (Zoey and Sefina). Also horror soak was much more important than damage soak.

Also because i tend to forget that some things are better left unspoken ...
