Dash on Debris

By Copperblue74, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Has there been any consensus on Dash with Outrider landing on debris in 2.0 as of yet? I’ve read so many back and forth conversations that I literally have a headache.

In a recent match, one opponent with Dash/Outrider landed on debris. Here’s how it was played out:

A) a stressed Dash did a hard 2 turn and final resting place was on a debris field.

B) Dash ignored the debris field effects (rolling for damage/getting another stress) but retained the original stress.

C) During Engagement phase Dash fired normal.

The Disagreement:

A and B from above were fine. But during engagement, before firing, does Dash NOW suffer effects of the debris field in that he now gets a stress and now has to roll for damage?

Any friendly discussion is welcome. Thanks, all!!

No, the window for those effects has past. They don't re trigger.

Triggers you ignored before dont linger until you suddenly dont ignore them.

Unless something moves him (tractor is possible now), nothing happens.

Rocks affect him because they have a rule when youre at R0 of them that is static and independent of the movement effect.

If he's tractored, he still ignores it. he ignores styuff whilst he's moving regardless of how. The only useful thing you could do would be tractor him onto an asteroid with a higher-init pilot which would be tricky given he's I5.

Forgot they changed the wording on his ability, you are correct.
