Why not have fun with bombs and ioning. I tried the list once...and lost
but it was fun ... and that matters a whole lot!
And I loose most of the games anyway since I am a beginner player, so for me it does not help me decide if the list is effective
Plan:
1. Have turrets facing backwards on the Y-Wings and doing risky moves like 4K in front of the enemy. Or 3 hard. With a boost to adjust.
2. Hopefully, ionize a ship or two.. Drop bombs or mines in front of the ionized enemy.
Now the y wings can slow roll in front of the enemy or beside them to ionize and drop another bomb.
3. Sabins makes hitting with bombs even more painful.
I am not sure if I make it more complicated than necessary. I guess I could just ionize with turrets facing forward and double tap or have agile turret gunner to pass the enemy and shot backwards.
I guess I seek advice on a effective way to use bombs and ion-turrets. And to decide if agile turret gunner is good. I always feel **** I am revealing my plans when changing the direction of the turret in the end phase... And have no idea if it worth using the free rotate as a poker/mind-game against the opponent and bluff with it.
