I kinda agree with Clon at this point, Most of his reads match my own, I'd likely put a couple more players in my middle range.

I really liked how LP listed out where he thinks everyone is at (town, agent, saboteur, etc.) and clon detailed who's good, possibly good, possibly bad, etc.

Should we make a system like that a requirement for each player? Maybe not a requirement but I am thinking of doing a similar list.

I don't really have a metric to Judge CV by , this isn't a classic first game scenario with Scum players being somewhat isolated from each other, I'm having trouble judging there properly.

I think Cal is probably hiding the sab, he's not soving much here.

Wont it just lead to a compromise Lynch that you did nothing to push nor prevent? It wont help the Town players working hard to solve, you should be transparent about your stance sooner the better.

1. Compromise lynching seems to be the norm already. On D1 Matt voted for Vis when he really wanted to vote for GNIP. On D2 votes were split between LP and Matt, and 2-3 people who wanted to vote for LP voted for Matt instead as a second best. So yes, it probably would happen, but I wouldn't blame this system for it.

2. Maybe it shouldn't be a permanent fix, but I think it's a good temporary one (for the next twelve hours, if not more) I don't know exactly where the clock is, but I know we have well over 24 hours. It would be helpful to know who wants to vote for who before we actually vote, don't you think?

LP's way isn't anti-transparency, it's for it. Unless he has a trick up his sleeve that I'm not seeing.

So for now I am willing to vote on CV, the arguments against him seem reasonable.

I'd be careful, there, we talked about the dangers of training when votes get fired off from the hip like that. I previously said work is slammed, and I'll help when I can. I earlier pointed out that Constantine looked like he was protesting too much, and I also previously warned people about voting too early at lylo.

You, on the other hand, were on both lynches, both killing town players. And you seem to keep coming back to me with the same refrain of "not contributing much." You know what else I'm not contributing to? Town deaths. Wish I could say the same about you.

Thanks Bertie! The “trick up my sleeve” is what you’ve Just uncovered - I’m trying to re-engineer the game mechanics mid-game to up-transparency and reduce the risk of trains. That’s my play here.

So I’m going sit on the sidelines for a bit. LP’s opening note responding to me has thrown me for a bit of a loop. My read is that I’ve actually upset him IRL. I’ve been playing aggressively, yes, but it’s only been intended as good fun.

LP, truly sorry my man. I have nothing but respect for you and appreciate you calling out what felt like an unfair pursuit.

Not in a spirit of arguing or defensivess, but just to provide some better awareness, please allow me to offer this up: we’ve only played three games together (not four). The first was also my first game of mafia and I was feeling my through learning the game of the fly. I went after you bc you seemed funny and smart and could roll with the punches. I also went after Ebon pretty agreesively as well, if you recall. But I never lynched you and always went with the votes that made sense. My second game, yes I checked you out on round 1 bc I figured you’d be a target, for good or bad, and then protected you for the rest of game. This time around my tenacity really has been rooted in the facts I outlined (not hunches this time), but certainly no personal ill will has been intended.

Quite the opposite, truly.

Ill keep an eye on how things are going and try to vote when things seem to be building to a consensus.

I am open to the possibility that you are playing scum really well. But I don't think you've been suspicious. You joke so much that it's hard to tell what you're really up to though.

LP has been suspicious, but his line of reasoning has been similar to mine recently, so maybe that's why I don't suspect him much? I can't shake the feeling he could be screwing us all over brilliantly.

GNIP has been more consistently reasonable than anyone in this thread. I definitely don't have dirt on him.
