So, this is my first outing for a 2.0 tournament. Just trying something out. Guri was one of my favorite pilots from 1st.

Guri: Outmaneuver, Virago, Collision Detector, After burners.

Boba: Marauder, Fearless, Han Solo, Perceptive Copilot, Contraband Cybernetics

196 points. Basicly boba is a brawler and guri is a arc Dodger. Anything I should change?

looks solid. maybe go for higher int bid? in a match vs another aces list u want to move after them imo. much harder for Guri to flank/Boba to line up rear arc when they moving before you.

mayb consider switching percept. copilot for 0-0-0 (+7 pts) or dropping cybernetics (+5pts)

if u switched in 0-0-0 you should have points for seismic charges on Boba :)

ur Guri looks about right.

Honestly you could go Boba (Marauder, Han, PerCo) and Guri (AdSen, Predator), leaving you plenty of room for a Jakku Gunrunner!

A couple of my friends ran Guri/ Boba at the Gold Squadron Classic a couple of weeks back. I think they went a combined 11-1 (with the loss being a mirror match where they had to play each other!)

Advanced Sensors + a big bid are critical for Guri.

I think most folks would probably say that Virago is nice for the shield, but you won't ever use the ability.

Contraband Cybernetics looks... risky? It'd be nice to get a clutch T-Roll or K-Turn, and still grab double-focus tokens, but double stress (or even triple stress! pull a red move, then use Han for the Red focus) kinda scares me on Boba. Sliding into the opening engagement with a 4k or a Tallon Roll is pretty tempting, though, and if you do this while unstressed and then just use a regular rather than Han focus action, so avoid getting more than a single stress. On the other hand, perhaps a big double-stress turn of Reinforce into Han Focus might be worth it against some lists. Wind up at Range 1 in arc of a Striker Swarm? Yikes, time for Reinforce/Focus/Focus. Well, it's more "before you activate, if you think you'll be at range 1 of a heavy swarm" but the same idea.

Fearless is probably an OK choice, but note that it only works with Boba's front arc, and that Boba already is going to get rerolls if someone is nose-to-nose with him. Going into someone's teeth is something that Boba does better than most, but Debris Gambit has been pretty popular with Boba players for a reason. Adding an evade token to his focus stack is pretty nice.

As for bids, there's tournament math for large bids (bigger bid = smaller points destroyed), but to a certain extent, once you give up on a giant bid, a 4-7 bid is probably fine. I guess. Bids are weird and local.

I did use the Virago ability a few times. The extra shield does help. I found collision detector to not be very useful.

Contraband Cybernetics: it was usually used after a stress maneuver. Usually just did a white manuever and grabbed a double focus. It was helpful and opens up the dial. The three times I nb used it I destroyed a ship three times.

Fearless came into play a couple times. Most likely will change out.
