I don't know if this has been suggested in a previous thread, if it had I apologise.
I am watching the opening scene from The Last Jedi right now and thought that a cool upgrade for Poe would be some sort of super thruster. It would be a modification with one charge that would allow a straight boost using a 5 straight template. Afterward it would give you a weapon disabled token. It would require BB-8 to be equipped as well as the Black One title.
Super thematic, unique upgrade.
