Is gamerhaven the place these days? How is the community in town, at like the comic book shop and Uncles etc.
I went to merlins and they didn't seem to have any events listed
The community is strong. Most tournaments muster at least 8 players. For Regionals in Portland last year, there were 6 of us there, not counting

There's at least 20 local players that I see at various events. Gamers' Haven has the most space, but Uncle's still rules the roost for FFG games, especially Armada and X-Wing. Every Tuesday is SW Minis night at the Downtown Uncle's, and there are almost always 1 or 2 games of Armada hogging the space from the X-Wing players.
It helps that we just got new tables at Uncle's that are perfect for Armada.
I work at Uncle's, and I can tell you that we are still seeing new players getting into the game. It's pretty exciting.

We usually have 1-2 events a month in regards to armada. It’s a solid growing community with some up and coming players.

Yes! The SSD pre-order will be a day 1 deal. And pretty much most of the rest of the prizes that don’t include determining 1st and 2nd place.
The winner of Armada Bingo will win a pre-order of a SSD. You don't have to be there for both days to participate but some of the challenges listed may improve your chances if you stay that second day.

@Brikhause When you say 2v2, is it a side event and are there special fleet building rules to meet (i.e. we should bring two fleets?) I’ll be there, super excited. Just need to grab a spot tomorrow...
