I really like that the card database can search by text and titles. But it needs to show points costs somewhere. And if it does and I'm not seeing it, then it needs to make those points costs more obvious. It would also be nice if it showed which expansions the cards come in.

I agree with both your suggestions!

but in the database, there is no way to know what ship you are attaching it to, so the point cost may be different. For instance, shield upgrade on the X-wing costs 8 but on the Falcon costs 4. How is the app going to know what point cost you are going to need?

but I wholeheartedly agree that tje set it comes from needs to be displayed... as well as the movement dial

I've brought this up before also. As cwh008 mentioned, there may be some issues with upgrade cards, however, at a minimum there should be points on all the ships. As it is, it's almost required that you print the points PDF to start planning a squad. For the most part, the app is only for storing lists, not planning them.

You can see all the point costs in the squad building section.... Not sure why you would be building from the database section. It's very easy to see ships and there costs in that section. Why don't you start planning a squad in that part of the app? (I can't think of any reason that you would want to do it from the database, I guess if you are planning based on searching certain phrases or words from the card text?)

However I agree with you it would be nice to see the points in the database as well.

I would like to be able to view all the point cost as research before starting to build a squad. As it is, I wouldn't trust the build section to accurately add and remove point costs. I make notes and play with numbers before trying to build a squad. Besides, expecting the app to save correctly after a 20-30 minutes of work is wishful thinking in my opinion.
